The Story behind the painting
This was commissioned by my partner who is red green colour blind. I wanted him to be able to enjoy the colours of Autumn. Everything had to be super bright and the colours really intense for him to see them. I've used blue to frame the areas of red and green to help them contrast which also helps his eyes focus on the colours.
'A Favourite Place - Tryfan'

The Story behind the painting
Commissioned by a walker (leader of mountaineering society at the time). This was his favourite walk. He spoke excitedly of the colours of the heather on the mountainside. The colour scheme was thus inspired.
